Professors Alison Fields (Art History) and Todd Stewart (Photography) from the University of Oklahoma's School of Visual Arts visited the studio for a Tea Hour discussion on their brand new book, Picher, Oklahoma: Catastrophe, memory, and trauma. The discussion revolved around how to translate their photographic and interpretive work of this former mining town--devastated by toxic waste and a major tornado--into an exhibit at the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, to open in 2017.
