We took a deeper look at one of geography's most influential spatial theorists: Henri Lefebvre during this tea hour discussing Joe Pierce and Deborah G. Martin's article on their take on the implementation of Lefebvre's theory into practice. In their article "Placing Lefebvre" Pierce and Martin step outside of the space framework, and instead look to one of human geography's other major conceptual tools, place, to unpack how mobilizing Lefebvre might be achieved.
We were joined by one of the articles authors, Dr. Joe Pierce, who teaches Geography and Urban Planning here at the University of Oklahoma.
